Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has given Arsene Wenger food for thought ahead of our clash against Burnley on Sunday after the forward netted a wonderful solo goal in a training match.

The 23-year-old was left on the bench at Swansea last week and he’s been in and out of the Arsenal XI this season in what seems to be a ‘make or break’ year for the winger.

With just 18-months left on his current deal, you get the sense that The Ox is playing for his Arsenal future this season and goals like the one above is what he’s certainly capable of.

With Olivier Giroud struggling with an ankle knock, If Alexis Sanchez is moved up front then there’s a space for Oxlade-Chamberlain to grab on the wing.
