Arsenal’s record signing Alexandre Lacazette has promised Gunners fans that he’ll give his all to help deliver the title we so badly crave after completing his high-profile move.

Lacazette, who spent his entire senior career at Lyon, finally felt this summer was the year to challenge himself and strive to prove his ability on the biggest stage.

The 26-year-old’s record in Ligue 1 is undeniable, having netted 37 times last term making him one of the most prolific forwards in European football.

Ever since being handed a regular berth in a central role at Lyon in 2013, Lacazette hasn’t disappointed and he’s assured fans that he’s keen on building on his qualities at the Emirates Stadium.

“I want to give 100% in every match,” the Frenchman said when asked if he had a message for the fans.

“I want to show I’m worthy of the shirt.

“I want to do everything I can to make sure we win titles.”

Lacazette has won one domestic cup during his time in Lyon and is surely hungry to add some of the biggest trophies in his personal cabinet, something he shares with us fans.

We’ve lacked a clinical No.9 capable of regularly getting into double figures and hopefully, Lacazette will hit the ground running when we kick the season off against Leicester City.
