Arsenal vs Bayern Munich…

Arsenal won the ICC cup on penalties after Alex Iwobi salvaged a draw with the last kick of the game after a difficult game against Bayern Munich.

The German champions fielded a very strong lineup from the start, with the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Franck Ribery and new signing James Rodriguez all taking to the field.

A number of our players were reportedly suffering from food poisoning and so our team was quite light in comparison.

We could barely get our foot on the ball in the first half, with Carlo Ancelotti’s men clearly sharper and more aggressive without the ball.

Petr Cech was to thank for speaking the scoreline at a respectable level, but he could do very little to stop Lewandowski netting the opener from the penalty spot.

Sead Kolasinac, who was also suffering from illness, went off shortly after the goal and was replaced by Riess Nelson.

Both teams made a hostĀ of changes which took the sting out of the game, but Alex Iwobi was to make his mark on the encounter.

The 21-year-old carried the ball through midfield before exchanging a one-two with Aaron Ramsey and guiding a header to level the score with the last kick of the game.

Penalties beckoned and it was time for Emi Martinez to establish himself as the hero.
