Arsenal legend Sol Campbell was at the FIFA Best Awards 2018 (via HaytersTV) as the nominations for the ceremony were announced, and the gathered media wanted to discuss his thoughts on our start.

Campbell was initially asked about our new central defender Sokratis Papastathopoulus from Borussia Dortmund for £17million in the summer transfer window.

Sokratis has started all four of our opening league games and his performances have been decent, but the overall structure of the team is rather off as Unai Emery continues to map out his philosophy.

Campbell claimed that Sokratis was “solid” in the bits he’s seen of him and that one he becomes adjusted with the physicality in the league, he’ll be fine.

However it’s what follows that has caught many fans online and it’s the ex-defender pronunciation of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyan’s name – a player he feels is the best in the squad.
