Alexandre Lacazette says his goodbyes…

Arsenal new boy Alexandre Lacazette took the time to say a proper goodbye to teammates and staff at Lyon before departing for London this week ahead of the club-record move.

Lacazette travelled to London for a medical on Monday and Lyon have released footage of an emotional goodbye which took place before the striker made that trip.

Lyon is the only club Lacazette has known in his professional career and he has served them admirably during his time there.

The 26-year-old has honed his craft and transformed himself into one of Europe’s most lethal marksmen, and felt this summer was the time to test himself at a higher level.

However, Lacazette seemed to go through the appropriate channels when asking for the move and didn’t come out in public to give a running commentary on how negotiations were progressing.

They have now been concluded and the Frenchman can look forward to spearheading a team capable of creating a hatful of chances for him in every game.

Lacazette is lethal when he’s in sight of goal and landing him this early can certainly allow him to flourish quickly and gel with the squad in pre-season.
