Alexis Sanchez updates us on his future…

Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez has revealed that he’s made a decision on his future, but a public announcement will only come after the Confederation’s Cup final on Sunday.

Alexis helped Chile get past Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal in a penalty shootout and is looking to lead his nation to a third consecutive international trophy in as many years.

However, back in England, his club future dominates the column inches as the 28-year-old remains hesitant in committing his long-term future to the club.

After his most prolific top-flight season to date, Alexis is rightfully considered the most complete player in the league and one we simply cannot lose.

“Good question. Right now I’m focused on the Confederations Cup. When this is finished I will see if I stay or if I go. I don’t know,” Alexis told the press in St Petersburg ahead of the final.

“Yes, it’s clear but I can’t tell you.”

Alexis’ clearly taking lessons from Arsene Wenger on how to handle questions surrounding your future, and it seems we’ll know soon.

However, given that he hasn’t given an indication that he’ll stay, we must assume that Alexis wants out and it’s now up to us to resist – especially given that his only viable destination is to Manchester City.
