After a bit of confusion, it has finally been decided that Arsenal will wear white shorts and red socks in the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City.

It had previously been listed on the official Carabao Cup website that we’d wear red shorts to along with our red socks, an identical kit to the one we donned at West Brom earlier this season.

The organisers made the assumption that both clubs wouldn’t want to clash in terms of shorts, but after being notified that Arsenal and Man City have both worn white shorts in matches before, we’re back to square one.

When we last faced Pep Guardiola’s men at Wembley in April, we wore a similar kit which spurred us onto a dramatic win on our way to claiming a record 13th FA Cup trophy.

Let’s hope it’s the same this time, as Wenger seeks to lift the League Cup for the first time in his career at the third attempt.
