Arsene Wenger speaks about his future…

Arsene Wenger refused to give an update on his future days after claiming that his mind was made up following that disastrous defeat to West Bromwich Albion.

Speaking to beinSPORTS, Wenger said that he had “no news” about his future and once against reassured fans that the length of his contract doesn’t affect his level of commitment.

Wenger’s current deal runs out in June – as far as we’re aware – and he vowed to give his all until the final day of his tenure at Arsenal Football Club.

“My news is that I have no news for you,” Wenger said jokingly.

“No matter how long I stay I will be committed and completely focused so how long I stay doesn’t really matter.”

It may not matter to Wenger, but our club is really suffering from a crisis which has largely been caused by the lack of stability from the top down.

The Frenchman runs the club his way and his influence is so great that a number of players have yet to commit their future to the club given the uncertainty surrounding Wenger.

Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are among the first-team stars with just over 12 months left on their deals and it put us in a disadvantaged position.

Should they demand a move this summer, we’ll certainly have to sell all three at a cut-price, a predicament which reeks of mismanagement by the club.

Check out Wenger’s take on his future in the video above.
