Craig Bellamy believes that Chelsea have it within their capabilities to end the game against Arsenal inside 30 minutes with the former striker expecting another thumping.

We lost our last away trip in humiliating fashion as Jurgen Klopp’s men wiped the floor with us at Anfield, and Bellamy believes we could offer little resistance if Chelsea attempted to do the same.

Our last win at Stamford Bridge came in 2011 when a Robin Van Persie hat-trick inspired us to a 5-3 win in a game which will go down in history.

However, the trip to west London has been nothing short of a horror show since then, and the Blues will certainly want revenge for their FA Cup final loss to us.

“If Chelsea go at it with any intensity they will blow Arsenal out of the water,” Bellamy said on Sky Sports’ Debate show.

“This game could be over in the first half hour.”

Bellamy’s assessment of the game ahead may seem rather blunt, but the facts certainly back him up. We’ve only won 13 points from a possible 75 in away games against the top six in the Premier League.

We’ve been thrashed on many occasions on our travels to various rival grounds, and another one of those performances and the vultures will be out for Arsene Wenger again.
