Former Arsenal defender Isaac Hayden named Alexis Sanchez as his favourite player on FIFA as the Newcastle United man was grilled on his knowledge of the game.

Hayden, an academy graduate from Hale End, trained alongside Alexis for a year before being loaned out to Hull City and subsequently sold to Newcastle.

He’s since won promotion with the Magpies and is back in the Premier League under Rafa Benitez as they look to re-establish themselves as a force in the top division.

Given his familiarity with the Chilean, it’s no surprise to see Hayden pick Alexis has the most dangerous player on FIFA given his insane ratings.

“Probably Alexis Sanchez”, Hayden said when asked about his favourite player on FIFA.

“I do a lot of damage with him on the pitch, so I’ll probably say Sanchez.”

The two hardly featured alongside each other during their time at the club, with their only appearance alongside each other coming in a League Cup defeat to Southampton in which Alexis netted a wonderful free-kick.
