Arsenal icon Thierry Henry has proven that he’s not to be messed with when it comes to remembering the facts from our club’s history after destroying Niall Quinn in an Arsenal-related quiz.

Ahead of arguably the most important north London derby in recent times as we aim to stop Spurs from winning the league – made more crucial given it’s the final derby White Hart Lane will host – the two Arsenal legends took to the Football Daily studio to test their knowledge.

Granted that Henry and Quinn were eras apart in terms of when they represented the club, the questions were split to suit their respective generation of Arsenal stars – though each contestant had the opportunity to answer a question from a different era.

Flanked by staff members who were both Gooners, the two competitive Sky Sports pundits were not in a mood to lose such a quiz.

The highlight from the quiz was undoubtedly the moment the two teams were asked about a player who joined Arsenal from the Scottish Premier League in 2001.

Henry was in no doubt: “Giovanni Van Bronkhorst. It’s my time, it’s too easy,” the Frenchman boasted.
