Guillem Balague says an astronomical offer has come in from England for Kylian Mbappe…

Spanish expert Guillem Balague has reported that Real Madrid are no longer in the race to sign Monaco’s Kylian Mbappé as they’ve been put off by an unnamed English club who’ve made an offer north of €100million.

Mbappé has become the hottest prospect on the market after his stellar season at the tender age of 18, firing Monaco to the top of Ligue 1 and into the last eight of the Champions League.

The starlet has been likened to Thierry Henry by many onlookers, including Arsene Wenger who revealed last month that we’re one of the clubs looking to sign the wonder kid.

However, it seems that if we’re to sign Mbappé, we’ll have to make an offer close to the world record fee since that’s the opening figure put to Monaco, according to Balague.

“Mbappé is a little bit of an impossibility (for Real Madrid), somebody has offered more than €100million and it’s not Real Madrid,” Balague told SkySportsNewsHQ.

“It’s an English club.”

Judging by our previous dealings in the market and Wenger’s staunch principles, we can safely say that this unnamed English club isn’t us.

However, I do wonder with the club’s back against the wall in terms of how we conduct business and their desire to keep Wenger in charge, one wonders if this is the way they plan to keep the fans happy?

Stop it! Allow me to dream…
