Mesut Ozil shows his class in technique challenge…

Arsenal star Mesut Ozil proved once again that he is arguably the most technically gifted player in the squad after he completely obliterated the Cooper Tires challenge.

The German wizard took on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and compatriot Shkodran Mustafi in aiming to guide the ball through five tyres and into the net.

In what represented somewhat of a twist to this particular challenge, an element of a reaction was required with a specific tyre lighting up and thus being the target for that particular strike.

After Ozil pulled out a few sensational strikes in the first round, the Ox introduced a new rule of only striking the ball with your weaker foot in order to stand a chance against the playmaker.

Despite proclaiming that “his left was enough”, Ozil went along with the new rule and was able to claim double points for finding the target with his weaker foot.

Santi Cazorla had previously held the crown in such challenges, but since he’s missing in action at the moment, Ozil seems to be the new chief in town.

Check out how the trio got on in the challenge by watching the video above.
