Giroud’s Griezmann dream…

Olivier Giroud spoke to Copa 90 at this week’s Puma boot launch and the Arsenal man was asked which French player he’d like to join him in north London, and his answer was much expected.

Giroud endorsed Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann who he struck a wonderful partnership with at last summer’s European Championships as the two netted nine goals between them during the tournament.

Griezmann is constantly linked with a move to the Premier League given the release clause in his contract, and Giroud may have given a nod in the club’s direction to make their move.

Asked to name the player he’d like to join Arsenal from his national side, Giroud simply replied: “Maybe, Griezmann.”

With the future of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil up in the air, Arsenal may well have to target the former Real Sociedad man as a viable replacement.

Check out Giroud’s hilarious interview with the Copa90 duo Poet & VujĀ in the video above.
