Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud named Santi Cazorla as the most skilful player’s he’s ever shared a dressing room with in his football career.

Giroud and Monreal partnered up in the latest episode of ‘Rapid Fire’, and it didn’t take the Frenchman long to answer the question of his most skilful teammate.

Given that Giroud has been a regular in the French national team since 2017 which has boasted some incredible talent, choosing Cazorla for this particular title shouldn’t be scoffed at.

“I have to say Santi is a fantastic player, right foot – left foot,” Giroud told Monreal.

“In the French national team, we’ve got some nice players too. But I will say Santi because I love him.”

Cazorla is regularly chosen by his teammates as one of the finest they’ve played alongside and it’s not hard to see why when he’s in full flow on the football pitch.

His past two seasons have been wrecked by a chronic achilles injury, setbacks which have also hampered our chances on the pitch such is his importance to the team.

With his season over, hopefully, we’ll see a fully fit Santi Cazorla ready for the 2017/18 campaign.
