Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn was a guest on ITV’s Good Morning Britain show which is hosted by Arsenal fan Piers Morgan and the MailOnline Editor presented Corbyn with a parting gift.

Piers handed him an Arsenal shirt with the ‘No.10’ on the back, despite stating that Corbyn “may never get there” – referring, of course, to Downing Street.

Piers and Corbyn have quarrelled back and forth on social media about Arsenal on many occasions and the two differ on the future of Arsene Wenger.

Corbyn is a big supporter of the boss, while Piers is universally known as the biggest Arsene Wenger hater and the former Islington MP was quick to add Wenger into the equation.

“Can we dedicate this to Arsene Wenger?” Corbyn asked Piers when he was given the Arsenal shirt.

To Piers Morgan’s dismay, he replied: “You don’t want to get rid of him, do you?”
