Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has sought to reassure fans that the players are united in the dressing room and are all behind the manager despite a turbulent few months.
Our win against West Ham United in midweek was the first in the league since we defeated Hull City at home in February, with our only other victories in all competitions since then coming against non-league opposition.
Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of our MNF clash against Crystal Palace, the Welshman revealed that the players are none the wiser regarding Wenger’s future, and dismissed suggestions that all is not well inside the dressing room.
“Everything’s fine,” Ramsey told Sky Sports.
“We come into the dressing room every day, everybody gets along. Everybody is trying to achieve the same thing and we’re all in it together to try and finish off the season strongly.”
Ramsey’s campaign has once again been riddled with injuries, further amplified by the fact that Jack Wilshere has enjoyed a largely injury-free campaign at Bournemouth.
The Welshman seems to have a chronic hamstring problem the club’s medical staff are unable to detect and has failed to hold down a regular first-team slot.
In a campaign which his highlighted a need for change, nobody resembles the recurring slump we’ve found ourselves in than Aaron Ramsey.
