Aaron Ramsey has stated that he wishes to achieve more at Arsenal in the coming years – fitness permitting – after he reminisced about spending a decade at the club.

Speaking to talkSPORT ahead of our Carabao Cup final clash at Wembley against Manchester City, Ramsey admitted that it hasn’t been all plane-sailing in north London.

The Welshman is a doubt for the final with yet another muscular injury, emphasising his sentiments that he could achieve more in the coming years if he has better luck on that front.

Many of these niggles stem from that horrific leg-break he suffered in 2009 at Stoke City, an injury which has ended a lot of careers in the past.

However, the former Cardiff man came back stronger and has since recorded two FA Cup winning goals to his list of achievements.

“I’ve achieved so much here,” the 27-year-old said.

“I’ve had my fair share of ups and downs with injuries and winning FA Cups.

“Hopefully I can stay fit and healthy and there’ll be a lot more I can achieve here.”

Ramsey is needed in this clash against Pep Guardiola’s sensational side, especially since the departure of Francis Coquelin in January.

The Welshman is now arguably our best ball-winner in midfield, something we’ll desperately need to do if we’re to hurt the league leaders where they’re vulnerable.
