AC Milan 0-2 Arsenal: Stunning European Display Leaves Gunners On The Brink Of Last-Eight

AC Milan 0-2 Arsenal match highlights…

Arsenal produced a stunning display when it really mattered in Milan after a horrific week in domestic competitions to leave us on the brink of the Europa League’s quarter-finals.

Coming into this tie, we’d lost eight of our last 13 games and Genaro Gattuso’s men were unbeaten in 12, which meant that the hosts entered the clash as favourites.

With the Europa League now our only route into the Champions League and our last chance to end the season with silverware, the entire world was watching on.

AC Milan invested heavily last summer and carried some serious threat in their side, but our mature away display didn’t even allow them a single chance of any significance.

For us, though, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Aaron Ramsey found the net in the first-half, with both midfielders finishing off slick moves.

We now take a strong lead back to the Emirates, but the tie is far from over and hopefully, our players have learned from the last European outing against Ostersunds.

Check out the highlights in the video above.
