Alan Smith: Leicester City Winning The League Would Be An Embarrassment For Arsenal

Arsenal legend – and former Leicester City star – Alan Smith believes that it would be an embarrassment for the Gunners if the current league leaders went on to win the Premier League.

Smith believes that while many of the other so-called ‘big clubs’ will be left with a sense of regret, Arsenal are the club that is currently experiencing the longest drought without the big trophy out of that crop.

Given the fact that a lack of finances was highlighted as a reason for our failure to challenge the likes of Man City, Chelsea and Man United in recent years, Leicester City are crushing that particular theory this season.

We face Claudio Ranieri’s men on Sunday, hoping to close the gap at the top of the league to two points.
