Alan Smith Wants Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang At Arsenal & Gives His Take On Xhaka

By The Editor
on 3rd June 2016

Arsenal legend Alan Smith recently spoke to ArsenalFanTV regarding our beloved club with our former striker naming Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the man he’d like us to sign.

Smith also gave his take on our first summer signing which was announced last week, defensive midfielder Granit Xhaka.

Speaking at a pre-Euro 2016 event, the man known to Arsenal troopers as Smudge, stated that we’ve been calling for Arsene Wenger to sign a clinical striker for four years now.

With the injury to Danny Welbeck accelerating the process of our search for a striker, Smith believes that we should’ve been after another frontman regardless of the former Man United man’s situation.

Check out Smith’s thoughts on Arsenal’s summer business in the clip above.
