Alex Iwobi sat down with a number of YouTube channels yesterday during the launch of FIFA 17 and the Arsenal man revealed some interesting truths that he’s experienced in his embryonic career.
Iwobi rose to prominence at the backend of last season as Wenger included him in an ailing team, and the 20-year-old repaid the faith will a few goals and assists.
Iwobi was asked by The Football Republic what was the most memorable abuse hurled at him from the stands during a game.
The Arsenal man paused for a second before delivering a classic: “Someone said to me ‘get your hair cut’,” Iwobi joked.
“It actually hurt me because I didn’t have a haircut.”
Iwobi is our new sensation and it looks like he’ll be a major fixture in the first-team for many years to come. The Nigerian international has registered the most assists this season, taking the weight of Mesut Ozil.
