Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain gives Mustafi some advice on his defending…

Arsenal duo Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Shkodran Mustafi are the latest players to take to the ‘UnClassic Commentary’ booth to give their take on our 5-1 win at West Ham last season.

It was one of our most accomplished Premier League displays last term, with Alexis Sanchez and The Ox running the show at the London Stadium.

The game will forever be remembered for Alexis’ superb hat-trick, yet the The Ox had some words for Mustafi after his recklessness gave away the free-kick which led to West Ham’s consolation.

Dimitri Payet’s free-kick rattled the framework before Andy Carroll taped home, all from the German’s inability to deal with the former Liverpool striker.

And, having re-watched a sound display from himself in which he scored one and assisted another, Oxlade-Chamberlain felt confident in giving his elder statesmen some advice.

“We need to work on you aerial duels,” he told the World Cup winner.

“And also giving away fouls at the edge of the box in dangerous positions.

“But, other than that you had a stormer.”

The Ox is by far the most charismatic member of the first-team squad and seems to break every stereotype many have of elite footballers.

He rarely gives such clichéd interviews and also has us in a barrel of laughs. Also, he’s not too bad at this thing we call football.

Hopefully, he can sort his contract talks out and stay at the club for the foreseeable future.
