Andrey Arshavin, who is currently playing his football in Kazakhstan with FC Kairat, made the headlines this week after he won a bet with a blogger who’s been trolling him on social media.

The former Arsenal forward accepted a bet from the blogger that if he scored more than 7 goals this season, which ended this week for the Kazakhstan Premier League.

Arshavin netted 10 goals and assisted a further nine, with the Russian enforcing the blogger to honour his side of the bet.

A number of outlets covered the ‘event’ and Arshavin can be seen enjoying conducting the forfeit as the blogger dreads every minute of it.
