We did it! Arsenal’s 2-1 win against Manchester City at Wembley means we’ll contest our third FA Cup final in four years against Chelsea next month.

We were written off by many given our recent form and we definitely feared the worse as Sergio Aguero raced through to give Pep Guardiola’s men the lead 30 mins from time.

However, as was the case throughout the game, our boys refused to be defeated and Nacho Monreal snuck in at the back post to fire him the equaliser.

Playing in the left-wing back role he first took up at Middlesbrough, Monreal wasn’t tracked after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain swung in a delightful cross.

The game was in the balance following that point, with both sides missing chances to book a place at Wembley to face Chelsea in the final.

As we entered extra-time, it was a case of ‘cometh the hour cometh the man’ as Alexis Sanchez produced some wonderful quick feet in the box to fire home.

Our defensive unit stood tall from then on, with the likes of Danny Welbeck and Mesut Ozil missing chances to seal the game for us.

This 3-4-3 system seems to have given us new life and has certainly made us more competitive.

Check out the match highlights in the video above.
