Unai Emery has named the 25-man squad he intends to take to Singapore as we visit the south-east Asian country for the second time in three years.

We’re set for some tough tasks in Singapore as we face Emery’s former side Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid, with some serious training undoubtedly sandwiched in-between.

Mesut Ozil, Mohamed Elneny and Alex Iwobi have returned for pre-season and are making the trip given their World Cup group stage excursions.

New signings Bernd Leno, Sokratis and Matteo Guendouzi have also travelled with the squad and will be interesting to see how they fare under Emery.

The Spanish coach has always made it clear that promoting our younger players was one of his main objectives as Arsenal boss, and he’s certainly lived up to his word.

While the inclusions of Riess Nelson, Eddie Nketiah, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Joe Willock comes as no surprise, Emery has decided to take Emile Smith Rowe and full-back Osei-Tutu.

Our two games in Singapore represent half of our pre-season fixtures before our Premier League kick-off against Manchester City. We head to Dublin to face Chelsea upon our return before a final warm-up game against Lazio in Stockholm.
