Arsenal’s club secretary David Miles spoke at the Champions League draw after we were paired with Bayern Munich for the second fifth time in the last six seasons.
Miles claimed that our poor record against the German giants must come to an end at some point and after topping our group, we have the advantage of playing the second-leg at home.
The Gunners official also hinted that the contracts talks involving Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are heading in a positive direction.
With their deals set to expire in 2018, Alexis and Ozil are currently embroiled in a dispute regarding their wages.
Miles also stated that Wenger is always looking at ways in which we can strengthen the squad and will be doing so in the January window.
