Arsenal wonderkid Max Dowman doesn’t look out of place…
Mikel Arteta continues to put the players through their paces in Dubai as the club embarks on yet another warm-weather training camp.
While our schedule in the campaign’s second half is nowhere near as intense as we’ve experienced until now, some downtime in warmer conditions will revitalise some tired legs.
The players will remain in Dubai until the start of next week before returning to London to begin preparations for our Premier League clash against Leicester City.
By the time we resume Premier League action, the team’s title picture will become clearer as Liverpool plays their game in hand at Everton.
We’ll be level on games played with the league leaders and will have to claw back a points gap of six, seven or nine.
Gunners wonderkid Max Dowman was picked by Arteta to join the squad in Dubai and despite being 15 years old, he continues to live up to expectations.
The club put out clips of training and Dowman is seen skinning the likes of Raheem Sterling and Kieran Tierney while whipping shots into the top corner.
Since he was not 15 when the season started, the England youth international is not eligible to play for the club this season, much to Arteta’s dismay.
With a growing injury list in the forward line, as Gabriel Martinelli now faces a month on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, the manager may have used Dowman.
Check out some highlights of Dowman below, while images of our latest session can be viewed in the slideshow above.
