Arsenal Football Club are supporting the Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day campaign through the Arsenal Foundation and came up with a clever little spoof to promote the cause.
Arsene Wenger, Santi Cazorla and Hector Bellerin featured in a spoof press conference, with the boss being grilled by John Motson about the Gunners’ perceived form.
Arsenal have always taken it upon themselves to be a charitable club, which is highlighted at the end of every season. Instead of conducting an annual awards night, Wenger has always fought to have a charity ball instead, where the club raises huge amounts of money for various charity partners.
Our players also donate a day’s wages to the cause through the ‘Be a Gooner, Be a Giver’ initiative.
Check out the humorous spoof press conference in the video above.
