Arsenal fan TY who’s a regular on ArsenalFanTV blamed the rain for the defeat to Watford at the Emirates Stadium which has effectively ended our title chances.

Watford raced into a 2-0 lead in the first 20 minutes of the game, and we never looked like getting back into the game despite a minor onslaught at the start of the second-half.

Gunners fans were incensed when appearing on the fan channel, with many calling for the manager’s head which was expected given the sensitive relationship between Arsene Wenger and the fans.

However, Ty, who’s one of Wenger’s staunch defenders, sought to blame other factors: “Things can happen. We mustn’t forget that it’s been raining.”

Robbie answered in disbelief at Arsenal’s excuse and it just goes to show how far some within the club are prepared to go when defending the manager.

With his contract up this summer and his future solely dependent on him, an honest self-assessment may see Wenger walk away after 20 years at the club.
