Arsenal Fans’ Protest Was “A Waste Of Time” – Jamie Redknapp

Jamie Redknapp labelled Arsenal fans’ protest against Arsene Wenger as a “waste of time” given that the majority of the stadium didn’t take part.

Approximately 10% of the Emirates Stadium held up various placards and banners directed towards Arsene Wenger and Stan Kroenke, but Redknapp wasn’t convinced.

His conclusions are rather odd given that we rarely see 60,000 people agreeing on such an issue at any football stadium; though participation doesn’t determine the success of a protest.

In such campaigns, gaining exposure is the main objective and those behind the protest certainly achieved that given the coverage they’ve received over the past few days.
