“Blatant Cheating” – Arsenal Fans React To Shocking Decision To Send Off Lewis-Skelly

Arsenal fans have had enough…
Arsenal fans were rightly outraged on social media after referee Michael Oliver once again attempted to influence our result by brandishing a red card to Myles Lewis-Skelly for an innocuous challenge.
Lewis-Skelly attempted to stop a counter-attack at the edge of the Wolves box and what seemed like a straightforward yellow card for a cynical tackle turned into another flashpoint.
Oliver, who’s now sent off eight Arsenal players during his Premier League career, decided to have yet another moment at the Molineux Stadium.
A red card was brandished immediately towards the 18-year-old and despite mass protests from the Arsenal players, VAR refused to intervene and correct the decision.
Analysing the incident in isolation is no longer feasible for Arsenal fans given how many unprecedented decisions PGMOL has handed us.
This isn’t Oliver’s first flashpoint with Lewis-Skelly this season, with many forgetting that he booked the teenager while warming up during the ill-tempered clash at the Etihad Stadium earlier this season.
The Hale End star was sent to give David Raya instructions and went too close to the area behind the goal. Oliver paused the game to book the versatile midfielder. You have to wonder if his card was marked from that moment.
Check out the reaction below from fans online as some called on the team to forfeit the game.
I’m fuming this is just blatant cheating and it’s always Oliver

They’ve hated Arteta ever since he called them out for their incompetence and was vindicated for it. We’re seeing it play out in real time.

Arsenal red card is a shocker… it’s not even a great debate… if that’s serious foul play heaven help us all…total incompetence from the VAR operators!

Michael oliver is gonna buy a private island when he retires and no one will be surprised.

That’s the third time Michael Oliver has found a way to manufacture a red card out of absolutely nothing for an Arsenal player. You have to ask what’s behind it. This isn’t normal. Nobody’s ever calling for a red there.

Arsenal need to walk off the pitch, to be honest.
This is outrageous refereeing manipulation against them this season.
