Wenger Out fans reaffirm their beliefs…
Arsene Wenger may well be celebrating 20 years in charge of Arsenal this week, but some fans remain firm on the idea that he must depart when his contract expires in June.
The Frenchman signed a new three-year deal after winning the FA Cup in 2014, but things haven’t exactly gone to plan since then.
Despite successfully defending that trophy a year later, we haven’t sustained a legitimate title challenge since we last lifted the Premier League in 2004, and some fans feel enough is enough.
“He wouldn’t have lasted two seasons at Real Madrid,” Arsenal fan Lee told FANTV UK.
Lee was then echoed by fellow Gooner, Memz, who added: “Times have changed, methods change.”
Wenger has negotiated a decent start to our campaign given that we’re top of our Champions League group and two points off the pace in the Premier League.
However, the delicate nature of his relationship with the fans means that nothing short of a serious title tilt will do.
Check out the duo’s thoughts on Wenger in the video above.
