Wenger Out protests continue…

Arsenal fans conducted their second ‘Wenger Out protest’ in a matter of days before the FA Cup clash against Lincoln City as the pressure intensifies on the boss.

The first protest was organised just before the Bayern game, with a group of fans marching from Highbury all the way to the Emirates Stadium, directly below the directors’ box at the new ground.

The significance behind the route is that the Arsenal board convinced fans that the move to the Emirates Stadium was designed to compete against the likes of Bayern Munich, but that still seems like a pipe dream.

The German giants moved into their state-of-art arena in 2005 and without a ‘rich benefactor’, they’ve managed to maintain their status as a super club and continuously aim to win all the trophies they enter.

For many of our fans, the lack of ambition stemming from the top of the club reeks and doesn’t mitigate asking the supporters to pay the highest season ticket prices in European football.

Wenger may have failed in his duties to get a top class squad challenging domestically and in Europe, but the board really need to end their fear of pushing the club if we’re to succeed as a club.
