Thierry Henry predicts Arsenal to miss out on top four…

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry took part in a prediction segment alongside his colleagues at Sky and the Frenchman went along with the theory that we’ll miss out on the top four.

The general consensus among the ‘experts’ was that that top four would stay as it is; meaning that Chelsea, Spurs, Manchester City and Liverpool would represent the Premier League in Europe’s premier club competition next term.

While Gary Neville refused to accept that Manchester United would miss out altogether, citing their entry into the Champions League through winning the Europa League this season, Henry had no words of encouragement for the Gunners.

“I think the top four will stay as it is,” Henry conceded.

“Chelsea, Tottenham, Man City and Liverpool…unfortunately.”

It’s unclear when this particular piece was recorded, but the heads at Sky may well have scored an own goal given the results in midweek which has somewhat altered the circumstances.

While Man City, Liverpool and Manchester United all dropped points, we’re now four points off a top four place with at least a game in hand on all of the rivals above us.

We should certainly set our sights on Liverpool after they lost their most explosive player for the rest of the season in Saido Mane, coupled with the fact we’ve got two games in hand on the Reds.

The Sky Sports’ pundits’ full top four predictions can be seen in the video above.
