Arsenal youngster Stephy Mavididi almost netted the goal of the season for Charlton after carrying the ball the length of the pitch leaving a number of defenders in his wake.
Mavididi, a lethal striker who has been banging in the goals for the U21s over the past few seasons, was sent on loan to the South London club in January.
The 19-year-old is yet to make a senior appearance for us and is certainly in need of some first-team experience if he’s to break into the team.
Mavididi, who represents England’s development teams, literally picks up the ball in his own penalty are and carries it to the opposition’s box.
I counted five defenders left travelling in his wake. If only Mavididi had the composure to match his sensational skill.
