Arsenal New Boy Cohen Bramall On Gunners Move: I Am Gobsmacked

Cohen Bramall speaks on Arsenal move…

Arsenal’s latest arrival Cohen Bramall has spoken out for the first time about his move to north London after Arsene Wenger confirmed the deal this week.

The 20-year-old joins us from non-league side Hednesford Town and spoke to SkySportsNewsHQ on how lost for words he was when he arrived at London Colney.

A left-back by trade, Bramall revealed that he was told to train with the senior squad in his first training session which came as a huge shock to him.

“I saw everything, and I was absolutely gobsmacked,” Bramall told SkySportsNewsHQ.

“It was like a dream. I was with the first-team on Thursday and the Friday, my eyes just lit up.”

Arsene Wenger has made it a priority at Arsenal to scout further down the leagues to find new talent following the success story of Jamie Vardy last season.

The boss gave Bramall some high praise after comparing him to one of the greatest left-backs in history: “he has similarities to a young Ashley Cole.”

Bramall is unlikely to be thrown straight into the first-team this season, but he can certainly make an impression in a problem position for us over the next couple of months.
