Arsenal starlet Reiss Nelson continues to enhance his reputation after the youngster bagged a brace in England’s U19 clash against Hungary as the young lions took another step towards European Championships qualification.
Nelson was a prominent member of our Europea League group stage campaign, but he’s yet to be considered in the knockout stages with Arsene Wenger realising that this competition is our only hope of turning this season into a success.
The lack of game time will certainly affect Nelson’s decision on where he sees his future, with the winger out of contract in 2019 just like a few other players.
It once again raises concern as to how we’re allowing players with such talent run their contracts down, but it seems Nelson doesn’t see an immediate future at Arsenal.
One interesting fact to point out is that Nelson is very close friends with former Manchester City youth player Jadon Sancho – the highly-rated winger who decided to further his career abroad and sign for Borussia Dortmund.

It’s a path many young English starlets are warming to, and Nelson may well follow suit.
