Arsene Wenger has announced that he’ll step down next month, and the tributes have poured in from his players…
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger announced that his 22-year stay in north London will come to an end at the end of the season on Friday, and the players were reportedly as shocked as the players.
According to The Evening Standard, the team and staff were told at the same time as the public, which was 10:00 am on Friday morning.
It led to an outpouring of tributes from the players across social media as they all personally thanked the boss for the influence he’s had on their careers and personal lives.
Given his monumental tenure, Wenger is responsible for the signing of every member of the Arsenal squad and thus is owed a debt of gratitude by the entire team.
With the Europa League now the only trophy available to us, the players have vowed to give everything in their power to send Wenger off on a high.
Check out their reaction in the posts below.

He always believed in me when most people didn’t. Thank you for everything boss! It’s down to us no… pic.twitter.com/wTmjTSYwNx
