Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Willian are set to return for Sunday’s clash against Wolves despite limping off during our goalless draw at Elland Road last week, the club have revealed.

Willian was substituted at half-time for what was later revealed by Mikel Arteta as a calf problem, while Saka limped off minutes before full-time after a painful-looking clash.

While both midfielders have been left out of the squad that travelled to Norway for our Europa League tie against Molde, their injuries aren’t deemed too serious and both should return this weekend.

Saka, who’s issue has been described as a ‘dead leg’, proved how important he is to the team during his brief cameo against Leeds United.

Despite playing with 10-men, Saka constantly looked to create chances and his clever run off the ball presented our best chance of the game.

The finish was disappointing, but his ability to intelligently facilitate chances for others and himself is encouraging for someone of tender age.

We’re going to need as many creative players as we can available for our upcoming games to cure our profligacy. We haven’t scored a league goal from open play since the first week of October.

Aside from the aforementioned duo, David Luiz has travelled with he squad to Molde following the birth of his daughter, while Thomas Partey is still undergoing treatment on his thigh injury.

Mohamed Elneny and Sead Kolasinac are still observing their quarantine periods after testing positive for Covid-19 while on international duty.
