Arsenal accidentally unveil away kit to a brutal reaction…
Arsenal accidentally unveiled our new away kit for the 2016/17 season during the half-time break of our pre-season fixture against Western Sydney Wanderers, and it didn’t go down well.
In an unusual timeline of events, we unveiled our third kit before the away strip and debuted it in our opening game of our tour in Australia against Sydney FC.
It proved to be a hit among fans and it looked even better when our players ran out donning it in our 2-0 win, made more of an occasion by Alexandre Lacazette who netted 15 minutes into his first appearance.
However, Puma has gone for a light blue away kit this season, though it looks more like a training kit than one expected to be marketed as the official away strip.
Its design looks a lot like the kits Puma made for Newcastle United in previous years, with a lazy crew neck and thin material.
Arsenal fans were certainly not impressed despite seeing leaked snapshots of it prior to the official release.
Check out some of the reaction below and watch the commercial run by the club on Arsenal Player in the video above.
Arsenal home kit is great. Arsenal third kit is fire. Arsenal away kit is a puddle of summer-hot trash water under a Waffle House dumpster.

Not sure about that away kit. Hopefully it grows on me. Make of that what you will @pumafootball @Arsenal

Arsenal's home and third kits are class, but I'm hoping the away kit grows on me because I don't really like it atm

That kit is appalling.
We play in yellow and blue away, Arsenal colours.
For fuck sake it’s like a cycling outfit.— East Lower (@ArsenesGlasses_) July 15, 2017
