Spanish Expert Guillem Balague has warned Arsenal fans that Arsene Wenger will have to be prepared to pay Shkodran Mustafi’s €50m buy-out clause if they’re to land the defender.

Balague understands that Valencia do need to sell in order to comply with UEFA’s FFP regulations, but the Spanish club only needs to raise €10m and feels it can do so by selling a few squad players.

Just like Paco Alcacer’s deal with Barcelona, Valencia have pulled the plug on negotiations and have no intention of selling either star unless, of course, a release clause is met.
