Arsenal Writer James McNicholas: Wenger’s Decision Shouldn’t Be “Mutual”, He Should Go

James McNicholas, aka Gunnerblog, feels a caretaker manager fair better…

Arsenal blogger James McNicholas, better known as Gunnerblog, argued that Arsene Wenger’s future should no longer be decided mutually and that Frenchman’s tenure should be brought to an end.

After Crystal Palace basically put the final nail in the coffin in terms our top four hopes on Monday night, many believe Wenger should now be shown the door at the end of the season.

Gunnerblog argues that there’s a debate to be had whether or not Wenger should even be given until the end of the season considering the rut we’re currently in.

Yes, an FA Cup semi-final looms, but considering how we’re playing, we’re set to go into that in arguably our worse form in Wenger’s 20-year tenure.

While we salvaged a 2-2 draw against Manchester City last week, the game could’ve really been out of sight within the first 20 minutes had Pep Guardiola’s men finished off their chances.

I’m not sure any Arsenal fan is looking forward to that trip to Wembley, which comes a week before our final north London derby at White Hart Lane – a game which could sign Wenger’s P45 for him.

Check out the video above as Gunnerblog claims that our club is filled with cowards, from boardroom level right down to the players.
