Arsenal’s Oxlade-Chamberlain reflects on MLS All-Stars win…

Arsenal forward Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain spoke to Arsenal Player pitchside following our 2-1 win against the MLS All-Stars with goals coming from Joel Campbel and Chuba Akpom.

The England man mentioned how surprised he was at the intensity of the game, and revealed a funny incident which took place after the referee awarded Campbell a penalty in the opening minutes.

After the interviewer mentioned the MLS All-Stars’ impeccable record in these annual games, The Ox spoke on what an opposing player said to the referee which reinforced the theory of why they don’t lose in these games.

“Ref, it’s an MLS All-Stars game, why are you going to ruin it for us?” The Ox narrated while stating that he looked at the culprit in disbelief.

The 22-year-old is set for a huge season and one he has to deliver in following an extended period at the club and constant battles with injuries.

The right-wing position is one that’s up for grabs this season, let’s hope the likes of Oxlade-Chamberlain and Campbell can thrive this season.
