Brexit Vote: Arsene Wenger – ‘We Can Only Survive If We Work Together’

By The Editor

Today, on Friday, January 24th, 2016, Great Britain is in a state of turmoil after the public’s majority voted for the UK to leave the European Union which it has been a member of since 1973.

The value of the pound has plummeted severely and we’re certainly in limbo as to what happens next and what Brexit means for the nation as a whole.

Given that the campaign to leave was built on emotional speeches and very little factual information, it’s time for those who advocated for such a drastic change to be brave enough to lead.

For Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, he was a staunch advocate for the UK to remain in the EU given the security the bloc provides and his belief that “we can only survive if we work together.”

Wenger, whose expertise are certainly in the football department, has also spoken about what this now means for English football and the influx of foreign stars into our game.
