Arsene Wenger Confirms Announcement On His Future Is Imminent

Arsene Wenger decides his future…

Arsene Wenger has finally revealed that a decision on his future is now clear and will be made publically “very soon” after our fourth defeat in five league games at West Bromwich Albion.

Wenger has maintained that whether or not he signs a new deal will be decided by how far he feels he can take the team forward this season, which has transformed into a disaster.

After our 10-2 humbling of Bayern Munich in the Champions League which marked a seventh consecutive exit at the last-16 stage, it’s difficult to see how the Frenchman can take us forward.

In his mind, though, a final decision has been made.

“I know what I will do in my future, so you will soon know, very soon,” Wenger told reporters.

“You will see, today I do not necessarily worry about that [my future], we are in a unique bad patch we never had in 20 years, we lose game after game at the moment and that for me is much more important than my future.”

The general consensus among fans is that Wenger will step down, at least that’s what we’re hoping will happen given that we’re severely in need of change.

We’ve had turnovers in terms of the squad, the backroom staff, and even our financial situation, yet our performances on the pitch are yet to improve.

For me, our problem remains on the pitch and we need a fresh tactical approach to competing with the other coaches across European football.
