Arsene Wenger has recently gained a keen interest in cleaning out any potential doping issues in football after similar scandals hit the world of athletics and cycling over the past few years.
The boss believes that the lack of serious cases in football does raise some suspicion in his mind, and he has called for more thorough checks.
Instead of the routine urine test a random player goes through following each game, Wenger wants to see blood tests conducting by the game’s authorities.
