Arsene Wenger: I’m Keeping An Eye On Mahrez But Talks Must Remain Secret

Arsene Wenger confirmed to BeIN Sports that he was indeed at the PSG vs Leicester City game to watch Riyad Mahrez and refused to deny if we’ve put in a bid for him.

Claudio Ranieri confirmed this week that speculation surrounding Mahrez has affected the winger and Wenger’s presence at the match certainly fuelled speculation.

Asked if Arsenal had made a bid for Mahrez, Wenger replied: “We do not publicize our transfer interest.”

As the reporter pressed further, Wenger chuckled and refused to answer the question.

There certainly seem to be something going on behind the scenes regarding Arsenal and Riyad Mahrez.
