Wenger accepts FA charge…

Arsene Wenger has revealed that he’s still awaiting a verdict from the FA after being charged with improper conduct for his altercation with Anthony Taylor on the touch

The boss was sent off for protesting a penalty awarded to Burnley last week and seemed to shove Taylor in a fit of anger.

Wenger accepted that he went overboard and revealed that he will not be contesting any subsequent ban from the FA, though there have been few words on that.

Asked if he’s available for the game, Wenger replied: “I am available, you see I’m fit and healthy.

“When I don’t behave like I think I should behave, I am big enough to say I am not right.”

Wenger later stated that he’ll request a personal hearing with the FA and is seeking clarification as to where managers are supposed to when they’re sent off.

The Frenchman may feel like the confusion surrounding where he should go led to the altercation given that he insisted on standing the tunnel.
