Danny Mills laments Arsenal…

Former Premier League defender Danny Mills ripped into the Arsenal players after we were overrun in our defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Mills refuse to excuse Arsene Wenger’s role in this defeat despite the fact that the boss was sitting in the stands serving his four-match touchline ban.

The former Man City man shredded Arsenal for their “mentality” and believes that their inability to have the will to fight for an achievement higher than fourth stems from the top of the club.

“It’s got nothing to do with him being in the stands whatsoever,” Mills snapped.

“The players today were weak mentally. Arsenal, I think have settled for fourth once again. And that mentality has to filter down from the top.”

It really is annoying when we’ve got players who’ve barely achieved anything in the game feeling confident going after our club, but that’s what we’ve become.

Every mainstream seems to be reading from the say hymn sheet and one could realistically play a game of bingo of what will be said after every Arsenal defeat.

However, as long as we fail to sustain a title challenge. We’ll be proving them right.
